Gushegu MP, Alhassan S. Tampuli Humbly Brutalized A Facebook “English Teacher” With Grammatical Punchlines

 The Member of Parliament (MP) for Gushegu Constituency, Lawyer Hassan Tampuli demonstrated his mastery of the Queens Language in reply to a comment on his Facebook post to cure the mischief of a follower who sought to embarrass the MP grammatically.

This took place when the deputy minister for transport wrote a post extending his condolences to the families of ‘Bogoso Gas Explosion ’ yesterday.

“Horrible news of explosion at Apiete in the Western Region. I condole with the bereaved families and pray for speedy recovery for the victims who have suffered various degree of injuries”, the Gushegu MP wrote.

Commenting on the post to correct the lawyer, one Nana Yaw Nyira Basoah, who by his Facebook profile is identified as Supervisor of Forestry Commission of Ghana wrote, “Sir, please, check ‘console’ right”.

“Nana Yaw Nhyira Basoah ‘condole’ is the right word, in context. Add it to your repertoire of words. Thanks!”, the former NPA boss jibes his follower.

Jubilating on the drama, many people said the reaction of the MP should be a lesson to thousands of people on social media who take it upon themselves to be correcting other’s grammatically.
