Introducing Dream in Motion Dance Academy

Founded in 2023, Dream in Motion Dance Academy was born from passion, vision, and the desire to put Northern Ghana on the map for dance excellence.

The academy is the brainchild of Quulu (current Team Leader) and Issifu Muhammed (CEO and Manager), inspired by the support and mentorship of Reuben Agygelone, CEO of Alikoto Festival — a well-known figure in youth empowerment and creative arts in Ghana.

In its early development, the academy made a life-changing trip to DWP Academy in Accra, one of Ghana’s top dance institutions. This visit shaped their professionalism and ignited their ambition to perform at national and international levels.

Achievements & Milestones

2022: Quulu wins the Alikoto Talent Hunt, making a regional name for himself and laying the foundation for the academy. 2024: Two more academy members place 2nd in the same competition, proving the academy’s growing influence. 2025: The academy signs its first major contract with Excel Plus Academy, training children in dance and building the next generation of talent. Regional Champions: Dream in Motion defeats Navrongo Dance Academy to win first place in a high-profile regional contest. The team has performed across major stages in the Upper East Region and beyond, quickly becoming a household name in Northern dance entertainment.

At the helm is Quulu, popularly known as Quulu_7 — widely recognized as the best dancer in the Upper East Region. His influence goes beyond the stage. From winning competitions to topping dance search trends on Google, Quulu leads with charisma and vision.

His leadership continues to inspire youth in Northern Ghana, proving that talent from the North can shine just as bright as anywhere else in the country.
