A popular philanthropical Ghanaian 

media personality who doubles as the 

General manager for GHOne TV, Nana Ama 

Anamoah, takes to her social media 

handle to, sarcastically, label Ghana as a 

beautiful country. This subtly 

compliment was born out of the 

outrageous speed the Ghanaian Cedis has 

taken over the American dollar. A dollar 

as of today, 16th of October 2022 stands 

at Ghs 12. 

On his Facebook timeline, as seen by 

WUMPINI NEWS, she wrote “ $1 = 12 

beautiful Ghana cedis.”
