The Northern sphere of Ghana has 

always been relegated to the 

backgrounds in most sectors including 

Entertainment. In Music especially, superiority 

and relevance have always been 

associated to the Southern-based artistes 

at the expense of the hard-working 

artistes from the Northern zone. 

Socrates Safo, a popular Accra-based 

Entertainment pundit, radio personality and a social media 

activist, however, after witnessing a 

well-attended Concert  and thrilling 

performance of Fancy Gadam on his 

10th Anniversary, threw a sublty shot at 

the supposed big artistes from the 

Ghana’s capital city, Accra .
