EARLY LIFE.
SHADRACH ABBEY famed as ABBEY was born in Kwahu-Enchi, 25th August 1982 to Mr and Mrs. ABBEY. ABBEY hails from Labadi, a multi-lingual urban community in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. For the multitude of dialects MR. ABBEY was exposed to at tender age, he can speak, with much proficiency, eight (8) languages English inclusive ; Fante, Asante Twi, Akuapem Twi, Ga, Brosa, Larteh, English. He is happily married.
EDUCATION
ABBEY , as inspiring as he is, ventured into secular education at a tender age. He had his fundamental education at LABADI, his humble abode. By virtue of the affluence of his immediate family, he was enrolled in the best elementary school in town. His outstanding academic prowess gave him a quick push up to advanced levels.
He was enrolled in basic school from 1991 till 2000 when he entered the then Junior Secondary School ( JSS). He sat for his national Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE 2000. For some personal reasons he delayed at home and later in 2010 proceeded to one of the A-list Senior High Schools; Nana Brentu Senior High Technical School, Enchi where he completed in 2013.
He was, upon completing same year, continued to Enchi College of Education, Enchi to professionally be a teacher. He’s currently on further studies in the UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, WINNEBA.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE.
Good leadership, undoubtedly, is an innate trait in ABBEY. In every level of his education or in minor grouping including circle of friends, he has always played admirable leadership roles.
From his immediate past at college, he was, by majority, voted the SRC PRESIDENT for ENCHI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, 2014/15 academy year. He scored several applause to his name during his tenure of office. He was adjudged one of the best student leaders to ever assend that throne. This examplary leadership secured him another major role as the Western and Central (WEC) regional president of Teacher Trainees of GHANA, TTAG, 2015/16. In 2016/17 he became the NATIONAL CORDINATOR(HEAD) for Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana, (TTAG).
Mr. Abbey, in 2018/19,
became the Chairman of the youth committee, United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Education-Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG).
He was as well the SRC PRO at HIGH SCHOOL.
He has along his educational journey and in the society as a whole occupied sensitive portfolios all of which he delivered to the wow of all.
In 2016, he was the major leading role that led to several appeals, with a positive resultant factor, for the government to settle the feeding allowance for COLLEGES OF EDUCATION.
He represented all Teacher Trainees on National Televisions, TV3 and others to register the plight of the Trainees. He has always been an advocate for good governance.

This coupled with several others gives room for no doubt that ABBEY when given the mandate to chair the affairs of student leadership together with an equally competent, outspoken and innovative personality IMORO ALHASSAN WUMPINI, MR.WUMPINI as popularly known, the welfare of the students body shall be a thing of the past.
