Five (5) Things That Show That De Donzy Is Copying Fancy Gadam Ditto-Ditto
Fancy Gadam, Striker De Donzy ; these names represent two distinct personalities in the entertainment scene. They have both, artistically, gained recognition by virtue of their outstanding craft. The emergence of the latter into limelight has pushed musical aficionados to infer that these giants typify different brands, they are, however, artistically like a duplicate of a single person. The sight of one on stage will automatically bring the other to mind since they are, more or less, like musical twins.
Though it’s not too wrong a deal to emulate the footsteps of an idol, De Donzy has severely faced the wrath of fans who believe he is doing too much of Fancy Gadam and not himself. They firmed their allegations on, seemingly, few concrete evidence.
This article will outline five popular traits common among the two which insinuate that De Donzy is really copying Fancy Gadam since the latter is first known for such brand.
1. Hairstyle: Though it’s a free will when it comes to how a person wants to look, De Donzy however looks more like his role model, Fancy Gadam, after joining him in wearing rasta hairstyle.
2)The use of RULER: Fancy Gadam after taking dominance of the airwaves for almost a decade declared himself a RULER.A signature every fan chants out when he’s on stage. De Donzy, upon emergence, tagged himself too as MAMPRUGU RULER. Though, different traditional kingdoms fans still believe that Fancy’s influenced that of De Donzy.
3)Fancy Gadam left the status of RULER to De Donzy and climbed up to a higher rank, 1DON. 1DON symbolizes the boss of the game which in this regard is music. De Donzy, once again, named himself UNRULY DON meaning even the 1DON is beneath him in supremacy. Though slightly different, there is still the element of similarity in the name.
4)Fancy Gadam in inaugrating his 1DONism released an EP dubbed 1DON EP, DE DONZY came out with his own UNRULY DON EP.
5)Fancy Gadam after a successful lunch of his EP at Tamale Sports Stadium and BUKOM BOXING ARENA, De Donzy has also announced that he will be staging a show in BUKOM BOXING ARENA to also launch his EP.
Even the official video of the first single, Super Glue, out of the UNRULY DON EP has similar scenes to that of Nobody official video of Fancy Gadam.
Though, this might just be mere coincidence there is some evidence to cement the allegations.
